At Christmas, you’ll find the downtown shopping area in the heart of Cape May ready to impress with its decorations. 

The Beach!

Cape May has roughly two and a half miles of beaches for you to enjoy. No beach tag is necessary from Labor Day through Memorial Day. 

Cape May Lighthouse

The lighthouse, with its 199 steps, dates to 1859 and, according to the records, it is the third lighthouse at New Jersey’s southern tip. 

World War II Lookout Tower

In 1942, 15 towers were constructed between NJ and DE as part of Fort Miles, a harbor defense of the Bay. Today, this tower is the only one that remains.
