Get to Know Sabin Tambrea
Sabin Țambrea was born on November 18, 1984, in Târgu Mureș, Romania.
In 1986, during the reign of Nicolae Ceaușescu, his father, an orchestra musician, defected to France during a concert tour. A year later, he, his mother, and his sister were reunited with his father in Germany. The family eventually settled in Hagen, Germany.
Music has remained an important part of the family. His parents remain orchestra musicians in Hagen and Dortmund, while his sister has also pursued music. Tambrea has also studied music, including the violin and piano. But at 18, he decided to focus his energy on acting, attending the Ernst Busch Academy of Dramatic Arts in Berlin.
In 2021, Tambrea published his debut novel, Nachtleben.
